Kendall Gipson

2015 Rising Star

B.S. Communication Sciences and Disorders, M.S. Communication Sciences & Disorders, '05, '07

Kendall Gipson graduated from OSU with both a bachelor's ('05) and master's ('07) in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has enjoyed working as a speech-language pathologist for Green Country Rehabilitation in Tulsa, Okla., for the past six years.

 

Prior to Green Country Rehabilitation, Gipson worked at Kaiser Rehabilitation at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She has focused on geriatric care for the majority of her career. Her interests include swallowing disorders, language disorders and cognitive rehabilitation in populations that have suffered strokes, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Scleroris.

 

She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a member of the Oklahoma Associationof Medical Speech-Language Pathologists. She is an avid runner, and, in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with her church's children's ministory and benevolence program.
