Alumni Awards
Every year, the College of Arts and Sciences recognizes and honors some of our outstanding
alumni whose accomplishments and service are tangible evidence of the growing distinction
of arts and sciences alumni. Arts and Sciences Alumni Awards include: Hall of Fame,
Distinguished Alumni Achievement, and The Rising Star Award.
Hall of Fame
The College of Arts and Sciences honors and celebrates alumni who embody the qualities
that make Oklahoma State University an extraordinary place to learn and grow. The
inductees are College of Arts & Sciences alumni who are recognized by their department
as Distinguished Alumni for demonstrating excellence and leadership in their careers
and making significant contributions through distinguished service.
Distinguished Alumni
The College of Arts and Sciences recognizes alumni who bring distinction to Oklahoma
State University through extraordinary achievements in their fields of discipline
and have demonstrated records of distinguished service. Twenty-four individuals are
chosen annually by representatives from each department of the College of Arts & Sciences
to receive this prominent award.
Rising Star
The College of Arts and Sciences recognizes alumnus/alumna who has graduated in the
past 10 years (undergraduate or graduate degree) and has already reached a major milestone
in his/her chosen career, has shown exemplary service to the community, and/or has
a proven commitment to volunteerism.
