B.S. '09/M.S. '11 Communication Sciences and Disorders
Kristina Egnor graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009 and again in 2011, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders.
Beginning her career in adult-focused communication and swallowing disorders, Kristina
took the lead in bringing Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to
rural areas of Oklahoma, ensuring that individuals in underserved communities had
access to vital diagnostic resources.
In 2014, Kristina founded Therapy Specialists in Stillwater, establishing a hub of
excellence in pediatric therapy services. Within her multidisciplinary practice, Kristina
serves as a key member of a team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists
and physical therapists.
Kristina’s role extends beyond clinical practice, as she provides supervision and
mentorship to graduate-level speech-language pathologists at OSU. Her guidance leads
students towards professional growth and independence.
Kristina devotes time to volunteering, including working with her therapy dog Ranger.
Through these activities, she has witnessed the healing impact animals can have on
individuals. Additionally, she serves as a court-appointed special advocate, fighting
for the needs and rights of children in the foster care system.
In her personal life, Kristina cherishes moments with her husband, Jason, and their
three children, Alivia, Brody and Jasi Jo. Together, they’re actively engaged in supporting
their children’s various activities and positively impacting the Stillwater community.
