Interim Dean Garbutt

Interim Dean Keith Garbutt, comes to us from the Honor’s College and is a professor of Plant Biology, Ecology, and Evolution. CAS will be conducting a national search for a new dean this year. As Dean of the OSU Honors College since July 2014, Dr. Garbutt has made a big impact on student success and DEI. With the breadth of disciplines held within the College of Arts and Sciences, Interim Dean Garbutt plans to focus on CAS research, education, and outreach aligning with President Shrum’s initiatives of health, agriculture, aerospace, and energy.
