Improving the quality and diversity of geoscience education

through informal learning environments.
The Water Research, Assessment, and Networking Ecosystem (WRANE) aims to improve geoscience education at the High School and Community College levels through informal learning ecosystems. This program establishes out-of-school-time cohorts which will focus on water-related geoscience topics. These cohorts will participate in educational activities, do citizen science research, and network with faculty, industry, and governmental professionals.
