Three-Minute Thesis (3MT)

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council will host a Three Minute Thesis Competition for undergraduate students.

The competition is open to all undergraduate students with majors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Undergraduates will present their research within 3 minutes while using just one power point slide. This is a great way for students to display their hard work while gaining confidence and practice in communicating their findings to a general audience.

Deadline:11:59pm, Monday, February 5th.

Awards

  • Cash prizes will be awarded to first through fifth place finishers (ranging from $250 to $1,000).
  • Preliminary competition rounds will be held on Tuesday, February 16 at 5:30 pm on the 3rd floor of the Classroom Building.
  • The final round will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 6:00 pm at a location to be determined.

The event is sponsored by the Dean’s Excellence and Scholarship Fund.
