Study Psychology at OSU

Understanding Human Behavior

The Department of Psychology offers training in understanding human behavior and statistical and research methods. We promote behavioral science through our undergraduate and graduate training programs and nationally and internationally recognized research.

Undergraduate Studies

Students pursing a major in psychology at OSU can opt for a B.A. or a B.S. which can be paired with five different options. In addition, we are home to minors in psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience.

Graduate Studies

While major emphasis is given to the preparation for research, organized and concerted effort is also made to give students the necessary background for teaching, practice, or any combination of these fields.

This program, American Indians Into Psychology (AIIP), is a joint effort between the clinical, counseling and school psychology training programs at OSU aimed at encouraging Native American students to pursue careers in psychology and providing mental health services to under-served Native American communities.
