To investigate all aspects of plant biology, from molecules to ecosystems, to provide rigorous training to future generations of plant biologists, and to provide knowledge and service to the people of Oklahoma about plant-related topics in support of agriculture and responding to the challenges of environmental changes.

Herbarium
The OSU Herbarium contains approximately 157,000 vascular plant specimens, about two-thirds of which were collected in Oklahoma and surrounding states.
