SCMM Code of Conduct
The 23rd Annual South Central Medical Mycology (SCMM) conference is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants, including staff and attendees, free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, including but not limited to sexual, racial, or ethnic harassment.
Expectations of Behavior:
- Treat all participants with respect, civility, and fairness, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or career stage.
- Avoid engaging in bullying, intimidation, or derogatory comments.
- Respect personal boundaries and refrain from inappropriate physical contact or sexual advances.
- These rules apply to all conference venues, including social events.
Any breach of the conference conduct policy will be evaluated by the organizers, and those violating the policy may be removed from the conference, restricted from future events, or reported to their home institution.
