The Effect of Soil Heterogeneity on Plant Spatial Distribution

2011-2013

Previous Work

This is my first research study, which was started in 2007. The objective of this study is to test the importance of soil characteristics acting as environmental filters on multi-dimensional traits, and thus to understand the community assembly and plant distribution at local scales.

We found that variation in species distribution at local scale can be explained by soil heterogeneity and adaptive traits.
