CAS Instructional Design
A Student-Centered Approach
CAS holds high standards for the quality of education our students receive. The recent
implementation of instructional design strategies into our CAS online courses has
increased both the average GPA and retention rates of our CAS online students. Educational research confirmed an instructional designer can help increase student
engagement and overall course success by 30 - 40%.
CAS Outreach provides customized instructional design consultations to help develop
or restructure course offerings in a variety of areas. Faculty who wish to meet with the instructional designer can schedule an appointment
for a one-on-one consultation or take advantage of trainings and resources from CASID.
