History Undergraduate Students
Study History at OSU
Broaden your perspective, broaden your horizon.
The study of history enhances knowledge of the self and gives perspective and deeper meaning to contemporary events. Our courses give students a broad understanding of the evolution of civilizations, peoples, countries and institutions. Because history is basic to many special fields, the department's instruction is designed to aid students interested in education, law, journalism, business, public service and even scientific and technical disciplines.
