4/18/2026: Oklahoma City Stuttering Community Day, OSU Hamm Institute for American Energy, People who stutter, families, and allies are invited to join us for a day of community, learning, and support in Oklahoma City. This FREE event will feature workshops for kids, teens, adults who stutter, and families, along with time to meet others in the stuttering community.

Summer 2026: Cowboy Stuttering Camp
An annual summer program hosted by Oklahoma State University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CDIS) to help children and youths who stutter build communication confidence. Check out the pictures from this past year on our "photos" page!

11/6/2026: Cowboy Stuttering Lab to Present at OSHA 2026
On November 6th, Dr. Tetnowski, Sarah Sacco, and Faith Dodd will present a case study on the use of virtual reality in stuttering intervention.
11/19/2026: Cowboy Stuttering Lab Goes to ASHA!
Dr. John Tetnowski, Sarah Sacco, and Faith Dodd were selected to present at the annual national American Speech and Hearing Association Conference that will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana. They will be presenting a case study on the use of virtual reality in stuttering intervention.

11/07/2025 — Dr. John Tetnowski moderated stuttering panel at annual OSHA Conference — On November 7th, Dr. Tetnowski moderated a panel focused on stuttering at the 2025 OSHA Conference in Tulsa, OK. 02/03/2024 — New endowed chair announced for Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders — On Jan. 26, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Oklahoma State University announced the addition of a new endowed chair thanks to the Edward E. and Helen T.
