The Gardiner Gallery of Art is pleased to present theBFA Studio Capstone Exhibitionfeaturing work by Ivan Alvarez, Jenna Corso, Alan Cruce, Journei Green, Arlie Mornhinweg, and Kately Towsley. This exhibition presents the work of the BFA studio art students graduating in May 2021. Each of these artists has been developing and refining a distinct body of work representing the culmination of each student’s artistic development, achieved after several years of experimentation, research and critical thinking.

This exhibition showcases work in several disciplines offered in the studio art program, including sculpture, jewelry and metalworking design, printmaking, ceramics, drawing and painting, and photography. Students work closely with a faculty mentor to produce their body of work and their presentation in this show. This exhibition is the culminating event of the studio major's studies and a final preparation for a career in the studio arts.
