Olubukola Ishola earned a B.Sc. in Applied Geophysics at Adekunle Ajasin University in Nigeria, followed by an M.Sc. in Petroleum Geoscience from Ireland’s University College Dublin. He is now pursuing a Ph.D. at OSU, working with Dr. Javier Vilcaez on a National Science Foundation-funded research program aimed at improving fluid flow in heterogeneous porous media. The research has significant implications for the understanding of subsurface processes, enhancement of resource exploration and exploitation, and the improvement of environmental management.
