Double Reed Day
Middle and high school oboists and bassoonists who have played for at least one year are welcome to join us on campus for an engaging day of double reed activities! This event offers the chance to collaborate with Dr. Shawn Seguin, Dr. Susan Miranda, and their students, explore the craft of reed making, and participate in rehearsals and a performance with a conducted ensemble made up entirely of double reed instruments.
This year, Dr. Cody Hunter (Stephen F. Austin University) and Dr. Kristin Leitterman (Arkansas State University) will be our guest artists!
Space is limited! Lunch and beverages will be provided!
