Adley Stump
Career: Singer and Author
Stump graduated in 2011 with a degree in journalism and broadcasting. She wasted little
time reaching a national television audience, competing on the second season of the
hit show “The Voice.”
In February 2016, Stump was named a winner of the Hyundai and The Recording Academy’s
fourth annual GRAMMY Amplifier program. She was chosen as the Country artist to watch
from over 4,000 entrants. She debuted as a featured performer at the GRAMMY Amplifier
showcase at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
A video for her single “Don’t Wanna Love Him” garnered over 750,000 views across all
release channels in the first two weeks. Her single and video “Stay at Home Soldier”
drew accolades across the board and was featured on 115 iHeartMedia Country station
websites, syndicated “Taste of Country Nights” radio show and Slacker’s “Weekly Country
Countdown.”
Such success has led to inclusion in several large country music festivals as well
as opening slots for Tim McGraw, Train, Zac Brown, and Phillip Phillips. She was also
the featured music performer at the 2015 Miss USA telecast.
Following the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado, Stump worked with fellow Oklahoma and
Nashville singer-songwriters to support the victims. She recorded a song called “Weather
the Storm,” and donated all proceeds to the Red Cross.
In addition to her blossoming singing career, Stump became a No. 1 bestselling author
though Amazon.com with her collaboration titled, “How they Sell Music: Lessons from
Celebrities on Creating Your Own Success.”
She has more than 500 million views across Facebook and Instagram. Because of her ability to retain attention and seamlessly integrate brands into her comedic videos, she was recruited to create original content for Facebook's Watch program in early 2018. There she hosts The Adley Show, averaging over 3 million viewers every week.
