Sarah Coburn
Career: Operatic Soprano
Since graduating in 1999, Sarah Coburn has become a renowned operatic soprano, performing throughout the country and around the world. She has performed leading roles with the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, New York City Opera, Washington National Opera and Los Angeles Opera, among others. She has performed in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Copenhagen Philharmonic, and the Moscow Philharmonic, to name just a few. She has received awards from the George London Foundation, the Richard Tucker Foundation, the Jensen Foundation, the Liederkranz Foundation and Opera Index. She was also a National Grand Finalist in the 2001 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
