Geology Field Camp

"This course is designed to teach geology juniors and seniors field methods used by geologists and to develop student abilities to work in teams. Strong emphasis is placed on proper mapping techniques and structural interpretations throughout the course. Students will learn how to measure sediment or rock columns, map rock units and geologic structures in the field, produce a geologic map and cross section, and interpret their maps and the published maps of others - all within 20 miles of the camp along with some field trips."
The costs include tuition and fees, housing, meals, and transportation is available from OSU to Colorado. The costs do not include camping supplies, and any miscellaneous costs a student might wish to incur. Find out more on the Geology Department website.
All applicants must have an appointment to travel on Study Abroad courses. You can begin your course application but you will not be able to proceed without an appointment.
