Field Geology (online)

Oklahoma State University is offering a six (6) credit hour virtual field camp experience for summer 2021. Exercises include remote interpretation of lithology, stratigraphy and structure with an emphasis on applications to groundwater issues. Geophysics exercises are included, and images of outcrops will be augmented by hand samples. Instruction will include synchronous introduction to concepts and exercises, asynchronous learning using various media and discussion sessions. Exercises are concentrated in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains near Canon City, Colorado.
