CAS Spring Break in Austria

Travel dates: March 15 - 24, 2024.

Join us as we journey through Austria's narrative identity through waltzes, works of Mozart and Strauss, writings of Sigmund Freud, art by Gustav Klimt, wiener schnitzels, and Gemutlichkeit (Austrian’s relaxed and happy approach to life). We will travel to Vienna Old Town and St. Stephen's Cathedral, visit a Spanish riding school, visit the historic Hofburg Palace and Imperial Treasury, take a Heurigen Cruise with Viennese music, and more.
* CAS study abroad will be enforcing COVID vaccination and/or testing requirements based on the regulations of the country of designation. Please note the situation and requirements in other countries can fluctuate over time.

Deposit:  $100
Due at time of acceptance to program.
OSU Course Tuition & Fees:  $1,364.70
Billing for 3 credit hours is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students.
Program Fees:  $2,035.30
Airfare and the Study Abroad Admin Fee are not included in the program costs. See below for details on what is included and not-included in the payment schedule.

Program Billing schedule:

All billing is non-refundable after billing date specified.

* $100 deposit: Billed at time of acceptance to program.

* $1,000 first installment: Billed December 1, 2023.

* $1,858.35 second installment: Billed January 8, 2024.

* $541.65 tuition: Billed by OSU Bursar, January 2024.

* $200 OSU study abroad admin fee

   - Admin fee billing date determined by the Center for Global Learning.

 

 

Included in the billing schedule:

* OSU Tuition and fees - 3 credit hours
* Travel insurance
* Lodging
* Some meals
* Course excursions and entry fees
* In-country transportation
* Health and Safety Orientation
* AlertTraveler safety app

Not included in the billing schedule:

* Airfare: estimated at $1,400 - $1,800

* Passport
* VISA (ETIAS for Europe)
* Some meals, mostly lunch and dinner
* Miscellaneous personal expenses
* COVID-19 testing if required by international country

Once you complete the first section of your application, you will be contacted by our program coordinator to make certain you wish to be accepted into the program. Once you have responded, you will be admitted to the program and the non-refundable deposit will be billed to your OSU Bursar account. All costs, once billed to your Bursar account, are non-refundable.

 

If you wish to withdraw from a program, you must do so by contacting shane.omealey@okstate.edu. If you withdraw from the program after the program funds are billed, those costs are non-refundable.
