History of the Second World War

Introduction

Follow in the footsteps of Allied soldiers during World War II as you travel from London to Paris via the Normandy region. Commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day with ceremonies and special programming, and gain context of this important invasion at Bletchley Park. During this program, you’ll visit World War II sites that will help put this major conflict into perspective.

American Government or Politics of Western Europe

Introduction

The Grand Tour of Italy is exactly that. Grand. From Venice’s endless canals to each Roman piazza, Italy has no shortage of awe-inspiring sights. You’ll see Doge’s Palace pale façade change color at sunset, stroll over the Bridge of Sighs and explore the ruins of the ancient Roman Forum on this show stopping tour of Italian culture.

Introduction

Learn the history of Baroque Art while you walk along the picturesque waterways that inspired the likes of Rembrandt and Seurat. Start at the River Amstel, whose palette changes from residential to rural in a few short steps. Three hundred miles downstream, it’s the serpentine River Seine that winds wildly through France to give Paris its charm.

Geology Field Camp

Introduction

"This course is designed to teach geology juniors and seniors field methods used by geologists and to develop student abilities to work in teams. Strong emphasis is placed on proper mapping techniques and structural interpretations throughout the course. Students will learn how to measure sediment or rock columns, map rock units and geologic structures in the field, produce a geologic map and cross section, and interpret their maps and the published maps of others - all within 20 miles of the camp along with some field trips."

Cost Details
