Hydrocarbon Site Management Virtual Workshop
This fully online workshop provides continuing education for environmental consultants. The online format provides flexibility for participants to earn CEUs from the comfort of their own homes.
The Oklahoma Ground Water Association (OGWA) is collaborating with the Oklahoma State University College of Arts and Sciences Outreach Department (OSU), to develop and administer an online training workshop regarding hydrocarbon site management, to provide continuing education units (CEUs) for environmental consultants.
This workshop will be a highly efficient combination of recorded videos, live presentations, and supplemental content developed through a partnership between groundwater industry professionals and experts in online education.
Workshop materials will be offered online synchronously in January 2021, but available asynchronously for a period of up to four (4) weeks following conclusion of the workshop. Workshop will include Vendor/Sponsor pages available for participants to view and interact.
8 CEUs for Participation
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission will approve up to 8 CEUs for full participation in the Hydrocarbon Site Management Virtual Workshop. Participants will attend live workshops and presentations, or they can watch recordings of the live sessions in our online learning management system.*

Virtual Workshop Dates
Participants attend live, virtual workshops on Wednesdays. The live sessions will take place between 9-11 a.m. CT on the following days:
- January 6, 2021
- January 13, 2021
- January 20, 2021
- January 27, 2021
The content provided during this virtual workshop is divided into four relevant categories:
- High Resolution Site Characterization
- Alternative Sampling
- Extracting Value from Data
- Remediation Approaches
*Recordings of live events within the workshop will be available until February 28, 2021. Participants do not have to attend live sessions, but must watch recordings to meet the criteria for CEUs. Participation in the workshop will be monitored through the learning management system, and all criteria for completing participation must be completed prior to the February 28 deadline.
*Only registered participants can join the live workshop. Registered participants will not gain access to the virtual workshop until January 4th, 2021 at 8 am (CT).
