Bahaedden "Baha" Jassemnejad graduated from OSU in 1986 with his doctorate in (solid state) physics. He is a Level VI electronics engineer with the Federal Aviation Administration through CNI Aviation.

 

He worked for 27 years with the University of Central Oklahoma where he served as both professor and department chair. While at UCO, he helped to establish a department of engineering with ABET-accredited engineering majors. He also served on UCO's President's Council and several advisory boards.

 

Jassemnejad was involved with nanotechnology research at NASA's John H. Glenn Research Center. He has held domestic and international positions with several professional engineering organizations.
