Located in the heart of downtown Stillwater, the Downtown Stillwater Cultural District
is where the visual and performing arts inspire, history lives, and creativity and
learning thrive! The Modella Gallery, brings contemporary art to Stillwater. The OSU
Museum of Art is free, with admission underwritten by generous OSU Museum Advocates.
The Prairie Arts Center is an OSU and Stillwater community arts partnership, bringing
art education and experiences to the community. The Stillwater Community Center and
the Stillwater Public Library both host a variety of activities, including events,
fundraisers, art shows, meetings, seminars, conferences, and private social and formal
gatherings. The Sheerar Stillwater History Museum tells thought-provoking stories
of Stillwater’s past and connections to modern issues through engaging experiences.
OSU's Department of Theatre and Greenwood School of Music present professional-caliber
productions on campus. Comedies, dramas and musical highlights the theatre season,
while musicians sing and play a range of instruments, both solo and in ensembles.
