The Department of Theatre at Oklahoma State University features a student-centered, inclusive learning environment focused on core values of excellence, collaboration, and invention of new artistic work for our industry through instruction in performance, technology and design, and best practices in arts administration. We produce an exciting and inviting season that celebrates both the traditional theatre canon alongside challenging contemporary performance through four productions on our 575 seat Vivia Locke Mainstage Theatre and two intimate productions in our 75 seat Jerry David Studio Theatre.

We invite any OSU students to belong in theatre! Join Theatre Council and be a part of shows outside the department productions. Alpha Psi Omega’s motto is, “Seek a life useful.” This fraternity/club is about community, service, and theatre.

Departmental scholarships are available to incoming and transfer Theatre students and to registered full-time Theatre majors.

Scholarship Audition Day

We encourage all incoming freshman to participate in Scholarship Audition Day for an opportunity to be awarded scholarships and out-of-state waivers.
