Bio
Chad Malone joined the Department of Sociology at Oklahoma State University in 2015 after completing his Ph.D. in Sociology at The Ohio State University. His teaching areas of interest include criminology, criminal justice, gangs, policing, deviance, and terrorism studies while his research typically addresses the influence of race, class, gender, politics, and economic conditions on social control, punishment, and the criminal justice system in the United States. Dr. Malone’s work has been published in journals that include Sociological Forum, Social Currents, The Sociological Quarterly, Social Science Research, Sociological Spectrum, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
