  • What are the application deadlines?

For fall admission the deadline is February 1.

For spring admission the deadline is October 1.

  • Is the GRE required?
GRE scores are not required. If a student has taken them (which is often the case when applying to several universities), we are interested in seeing the scores, but they are not required.  It will not be accounted against you if you do not report GRE scores.   I should let you know that if you choose to fill out an application, it will appear in the application portal that the GRE is required.  Our current process to handle this is to waive the GRE requirement once all other parts of the application are complete.
  •  Are GTA positions available and offered?

GTA positions are offered with a majority of admissions. All applicants are considered for GTA/GRA positions unless noted otherwise.

We do not hire GTAs from outside of our department.

  • Are graduate courses offered online?
We do not offer any of our graduate courses online.
