  • Analytical/statistical method of analysis 
  • Emphasis on location, space, and/or place 
  • Positivist approach and application of methods, models, and pattern techniques 
  • Focus on economic and spatial behavior across many scales and topics 


Specific areas in which I have conducted research include: 


  • Transportation geography (bypass impacts studies, patterns of traffic accidents) 
  • Communications geography (low power TV, radio, cell phones) 
  • Aviation geography (airport locations, signal interference) 
  • Assessment of critical thinking skills
