Welcome From the Dean
It is my honor to welcome you to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Oklahoma State University. Throughout our website, you will find that we offer a diverse range of innovative fields within our college, from Art to Zoology. With 24 departments representing the arts and humanities, the social sciences, and the sciences and mathematics, we are OSU’s largest and most diverse college. CAS is home to all of these, and also delivers the University's undergraduate core curriculum to all bachelor's degree-seeking students.
If you are undecided, please explore our “find your major” page that organizes majors into areas of interest. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, you will enjoy a holistic academic experience that transforms your passions into careers. Our faculty come from nationally recognized programs across the country, continuing our institutional legacy as a premier land-grant institution. CAS faculty take pride in being student-centered scholar-teachers, integrating research with real-world impact into their teaching and service to the national and state community.
As you become part of a proud tradition that extends back to 1890, I encourage you to enjoy your time at OSU and please don’t hesitate to contact me or our great staff in the College of Arts and Sciences. We are here to help you Connect, Achieve and Succeed. Go Pokes!
