Kazakhstan: Geopolitical Development and Potential

Travel Dates: March 17 - 25, 2018 (Spring Break)
Course Dates: January 16 - May 4, 2018

Introduction

Travel to Suleyman Demirel University in Almaty, Kazakhstan! Visit sites in Almaty city, as well as Charyn Canyon, Chimbulak resort, Ahmad Yasavi Mausoleum, and the capital city of Astana. Several cultural events will also be provided.

Cost Details

The costs include tuition and fees, travel insurance, lodging, most meals & field trips/activities. The costs do not include airfare, any additional meals, passport or additional airline fees, local transportation (not with field trips) and any miscellaneous costs a student might wish to incur.

Enrollment Instructions

All applicants must have an appointment to travel on the course. You can begin your course application but you will not be able to proceed without an appointment. Contact Shane O'Mealey in the Arts and Sciences Outreach office to set up an appointment and be accepted into the program.
