The Aerospace Studies focuses on leadership and management studies, profession of arms, communication studies, warfare studies, and international security studies. A student seeking a minor in Aerospace Studies must be approved by the Director of the Air Force ROTC, and be advised by instructional personnel in the Aerospace Studies Department. Students are taught leadership and management skills and develop enhanced oral and written communication skills through a better understanding of the different functions of military leadership and military customs and courtesies. Students gain knowledge in military officership and the laws and nature of armed conflict while learning how the United States military forces, particularly aerospace forces, are developed, organized, and employed
Scholarships are available for prospective freshmen, transfer students, current students and continuing students through the University, College of Arts and Sciences, and respective Departments.
When students complete the OSU admission application, they are automatically considered for the University Level scholarships.
Students are eligible for College Level scholarships within the College of Arts and Sciences after completing 12 hours at OSU. Some exceptions may apply. See specific scholarships for criteria.
