Studio Art Minor

 Studio Minor11

The studio art minor is designed to provide a broad art experience. The eight courses of the studio minor include art history and classes selected from seven areas of specialization: Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Jewelry/Metals, Oil Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture and Watercolor. This degree provides a cohesive artistic introduction to media, technical skills, and conceptual skills.

Students enrolled in art classes have the opportunity to participate in student exhibitions and attend art field trips, and they are guided to develop their individual artist abilities. The studio minor is often paired with majors in Architecture, Art History, Marketing, and Media.

The Studio Art Minor requires 24 hours. See
